1. Atos Consulting undertakes that it will at all times comply with and adhere to the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 (“the Act”) and undertakes to you that, subject to the clause below, it shall not publish, disclose or otherwise divulge data submitted or inputted by you without your express permission, whether such data is classed as personal data under the Act or otherwise.
2. By providing your personal information (if any) you agree to the collection, storage, and use of your personal information by us in accordance with this privacy policy.
3. If you register an application for membership and/or order products or services from us by completing the online order process, or contact us by telephone or email, we may collect personal information from you, such as but not limited to: your name, postal address, organisation name, email address, telephone numbers, facsimile number.
4. Where you order membership from us, we may collect: your debit or credit card number, expiry date, and other relevant information to allow us to collect payment so that we can process your order.
5. In addition to providing our services and products to you, we may also use this information for market research purposes, credit control purposes, or to provide news, information, updates about our services, events, training which we believe may be of interest to you.
6. We may share your information with other companies within our group for any of the above purposes, and with those organisations who are working with us.
7. We will take reasonable steps to ensure the privacy of your information if we ever have to pass information outside the European Economic Area to countries that do not have data protection laws equivalent to those of the UK.
8. When you order from us we use a secure server. All personal and credit card information is encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. We maintain strict security standards and procedures to try and prevent unauthorised access to your data. We use leading technologies and best practice, such as data encryption, firewalls and server authentication.
